From a single lead to a crowd of hundreds, WigFX hires wigs, hairpieces and facial hair to film and television productions. Send us the brief and Myrthe will put together a production quote within 48 hours.
Large orders
Dressing a crowd, a background cast or a whole company? We can supply wigs in quantity, from tens to hundreds of pieces.
- One quote for the whole production. Add pieces to your quote or send us a cast list, and we price the order as one hire.
- Production rates. Orders of 20 pieces or more are priced as a production hire. Ask for a production rate in your quote.
- Tracked by hire code. Every piece has its own hire code, so your team can track who wore what across every shoot day.
- Notice. For orders of 50 pieces or more, give us 3 weeks notice so we can pull, prepare and pack your order.
Fittings on approval
Not sure which pieces will work until you see them on your cast? Take a selection for fittings, keep what works and bring back the rest.
- Choose a selection. Add the pieces you want to try to your quote and mark it as a fitting.
- Take them for fittings. Collect from our Morningside studio and keep the selection for up to 7 days.
- Bring back what you don't need. Pieces returned within the approval period are not charged.
- Hire what you keep. We convert the pieces you keep into your hire, at the hire length you need.
A refundable bond covers every piece that leaves the studio, including fitting pieces. Pieces returned after the approval period are charged at the 7-day rate.

- The production, and your shoot or performance dates
- The number of performers, with gender and period or look for each
- Whether you need human hair, lace front, synthetic, or a mix
- When you want to hold fittings
